Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Power, a calendar assistant you use over text message. By verifying your phone number and texting Power, you agree to them. You need to be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live, to have an account.

Your account. Your account is tied to your phone number, so keep control of it and tell us if you lose it or change it — whoever holds the number can text Power as you. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the accuracy of the information you give us. Don't use Power to break the law, to send unsolicited messages, to access someone else's accounts, or to attack, reverse engineer, or overload the service.

Messaging. Power works over standard SMS and MMS. By signing up you consent to receive texts from us, including your daily briefing and replies to your messages. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply, and message delivery depends on your carrier — we can't guarantee it. Reply STOP to stop messages and HELP for help.

What Power does with your calendar. When you ask Power to add, move, or delete an event, it changes your real calendar. It confirms every change in plain language and supports an undo, but you are responsible for reviewing what it does. Power is an automated assistant and can misread a request or a confirmation email; don't rely on it as your only record of anything that matters, and check your calendar before you act on it.

Plans and payment. Power has a free tier with limits and a paid plan that removes them. Paid plans bill in advance on a recurring basis until you cancel. Cancel any time and your plan runs through the end of the period you've paid for; we don't prorate partial periods unless the law requires it. We may change prices or plan limits with reasonable notice before your next renewal.

Your content and ours. Your messages, calendar, and email content stay yours. You give us the limited permission we need to operate the service for you — to process, store, and display that content back to you. Power itself, including the software and brand, stays ours. Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and liability. Power is provided “as is,” without warranties, and we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including missed events or appointments, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending things and changes. You can delete your account at any time by texting “delete my account.” We may suspend or end an account that violates these terms. We may update these terms and will give notice of material changes; continuing to use Power afterward means you accept them. Questions go to support@power.app.
